Dr Asad Qureshi
I am a Consultant Oncologist based in London with over 20 years of experience. I qualified in 2001 and completed my specialist training in London at a number of specialist cancer institutions, including St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, Guy’s Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
I specialise in the treatment of cancer in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, including oesophagus, stomach, colon, rectum, anus and also treat cancer of unknown primary.
Areas of expertise
I have particular expertise in the use of chemoradiation and advanced radiation techniques including VMAT/IGRT, stereotactic radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
I am based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and offer private treatment at LOC Harley Street, HCA London Bridge and The London Clinic.
I qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals Medical School and went on to complete my specialist training in Clinical Oncology at a number of departments in London, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
Research
I have completed a research degree at King’s College London in stereotactic radiotherapy and advanced image-guided techniques.
